Digital Inclusion: No One and Nowhere Left Behind

Overview of the digital inclusion landscape in Sunderland. An outline of the digital inclusion programme, and work being delivered, such as, Digital Health Hubs which are addressing digital inclusion and addressing health inequalities.

- focus on the UKSPF funded programme called Digital Health Hubs 

- delivers a two stage approach. Stage one aims to address digital exclusion by providing doorstep digital services at the heart of communities to help people, from taking their first steps online to thriving in a digital world. 

- Stage two, opened up access to a new funding stream, allowing community groups from across the city to apply and deliver social prescribing activities, as part of the Sunderland Links for Life programme. This aims to improve health and wellbeing services from community spaces across the city, and collective they ensure no one and nowhere is left behind.
