About this Talk
We often struggle to understand and measure the impact of our services. Impact measurement practice is often divorced from core product and service design practices. As a result, teams often lack the clarity on how what they’re delivering is laddering up to their organisational missions and achieving wider impact.
Impact Mapping 101 will give participants a whirlwind tour of the key steps for how to SCAN for impact, MAP the impact, and MEASURE the impact of our products and services. Borrowing from proven impact measurement methodologies, over the course of the workshop teams will be guided to build their own impact maps.
This will involve a series of exercises centred on;
1) Setting ambitious yet measurable Impact Goals
2) Mapping, sequencing and prioritising outcomes
3) Turning outcomes into measurable indicators
4) Shaping a simple ‘living’ measurement plan that the whole team can get behind
