Bringing Augmented Reality to Ancient London Traditions

In 2023, we created the world's first AR float for the Lord Mayor's Show. Bringing new tech to the old traditions of the City of London, our contribution to the 5km civic procession was loved by the new Lord Mayor, and featured prominently on the BBC. And we managed to complete the project in 4 months with no budget. In this talk we take you through how we did it, involving the City's Livery Companies, some top notch digital design, and the pivotal role of an iPad.
