About this talk

In 2021 the average increase in Global Temperatures was 1.1 degrees. If we are to hold global warming to just 1.5 degrees then the time for action is now. Otherwise, we will have to live with the effects of permanent changes to our environment. In this talk, Tony Sudworth, Sustainability Lead at DWP Digital will cover Carbon Budgets, some of the effects of warming up to 6 degrees, where we are today, what the April IPCC report said and what we can do as individuals and how ‘If we can't keep the global average temperature rises to below 1.5, then we do 1.6, and 1.7 and so on. We can always prevent things from getting worse. It's never too late to do as much as we can- it's never too late to do the right thing'.
