About this Session
Parliament is full of history and tradition. It’s also a modern workplace. The work of everyone in Parliament should be enabled by digital technology rather than held back by old systems or processes. As such, since October 2021 we have been laying the foundations for big improvements to the way Parliament manages, funds, prioritises and delivers its digital work. We’ve organised this work into a programme of activity called the Transforming Digital Programme. This talk would be an opportunity for the Programme Director and one of the delivery leads from the Programme to share their reflections on what they've learnt since the start of the Programme.
All of Transforming Digital’s activities are aimed at improving six key areas for Parliament:
-Improved digital skills and capabilities across Parliament
-Improved quality of service in operational support
-Improved data availability, quality and accessibility
-Better informed decision-making about funding and investment in digital
-More responsive delivery of digital services
-Improved value from digital to Parliament
