This session will explain how the government's new post-pandemic focus on social value can be better operationalised and measured using registers - 21st century digital registers.
Social value is a broad topic. This session will illustrate the benefits of using digital registers to drive social value by focusing on the complex issue of Health and Social Care Integration. How might the NHS and Local Authorities better facilitate, and measure, the social value delivered by the voluntary sector?
Based on the Feeley report (https://siccar.net/national-care-service/), Scottish Government has committed to legislate to introduce a National Care Service in Scotland, free at the point of delivery. The same topic is currently exercising government in Westminster.
What new technologies can we utilise to deliver this within the available budget? How can we enable data-driven care to achieve better patient outcomes? Where are the opportunities for better collaboration?
