About this talk

A 45 minute panel discussion with Charlotte Newman (Director at Carefree - a charity building an online platform that allows the hospitality industry to donate hotel rooms to carers),someone else, and Phoebe Tickell (Portfolio Officer at the Digital Fund at The National Lottery Community Fund, managing 29 grants worth £12.1 million all focused on building the field of digital, and growing organisational resilience).

What does it look like to be a great 21st Century Charity? Charlotte, Phoebe, and one other guest will each give their insight on the different pillars that make a charity ‘future fit’. This includes an insight into the practices of a 21st century charity, the responsible and effective use of technology and data, the use of strategic partnerships to scale impact and the funding that can support that.

We will bring expertise from the point of view of a charity start up founder and a charity leader who have reflected on what makes a great 21st Century Charity, and a funder who has experience in the world of funding the ecosystem/field of digital.
