About this talk

During the Covid-19 crisis, we have seen many examples of tech’s positive potential for social good, with charities, social enterprises, voluntary and community groups diversifying or changing the way they operate in order to survive and thrive during this difficult period. But if digital service delivery becomes the new norm post Covid, does the Welsh third sector have the required knowledge and skills to thrive in this new environment? How does the sector start to co-design, build and use tech to meet their business and social outcomes? Join us for the launch of both Digital Leaders Wales week and the launch of Tech Fest for Social Good where we will be focussing on the question "What are the challenges faced by Digital Transformation in Wales today?”

Yn ystod argyfwng Covid-19, rydym wedi gweld llawer o enghreifftiau o botensial cadarnhaol technoleg er budd cymdeithasol, gydag elusennau, mentrau cymdeithasol, grwpiau gwirfoddol a grwpiau cymunedol yn amrywio neu’n newid eu ffordd o weithredu er mwyn goroesi a ffynnu yn ystod y cyfnod anodd hwn. Ond os darpariaeth trwy wasanaeth digidol fydd y norm newydd ar ôl Covid, a oes gan drydydd sector Cymru y wybodaeth a’r sgiliau gofynnol i ffynnu yn yr amgylchedd newydd hwn? Sut mae’r sector yn dechrau cyd-ddylunio, adeiladu a defnyddio technoleg i fodloni’u canlyniadau busnes a chanlyniadau cymdeithasol? Ymunwch â ni ar gyfer lansio wythnos Arweinwyr Digidol Cymru a lansio’r Ŵyl Dechnoleg er Budd Cymdeithasol, pan fyddwn yn canolbwyntio ar y cwestiwn canlynol, sef "Beth yw’r heriau y mae Trawsnewid Digidol yng Nghymru yn eu hwynebu heddiw?”
