Next steps in Digital Sustainability - where we need to get to

We've made a start on measuring emissions from IT infrastructure - but we need to move to active management of those emissions and aiming to reduce them by 7/8% a year in order to meet Greening Government and the Climate Change Act ambitions. Where are we now and where do we need to be ? What new legislation / policy is coming and what will its impact be ? And if we know its coming what can we do to prepare ? The later we leave our response the more it will cost so this could be regarded as sensible preparation in order for us to meet our Social Value Theme 2 Climate Change needs in our future IT contracts / deployments .
