About this talk

Introduction to the EMPOWERCARE Project: EMPOWERCARE is an EU funded project that will create resilient communities and empower people 65+ to take more responsibility for their care using technology and local services to keep them healthy and motivated. The project benefits from a cross-border approach working with 13 partners across 4 countries to review relevant person-centred methodologies and consider their use in EMPOWERCARE and the wider social care system.

We will share our experiences of engaging with end users during the pandemic and the benefits of the approaches we use such as Digital Ambassadors in Kent, the Living Lab in Brighton and other methodologies being tested by the partnership. We would like to highlight the advantages of using self-sustained tools for innovation.
