About this talk

In this talk we are going to share what we have learnt so far, both in terms of working outside our organisation as well as about how best to support residents in the early stages of needing help before they are eligible for traditional statutory services

As part of the SENA (Societal Early Need Application) project we are designing a new service and a digital tool that is bigger than the council.

The ambition of the project is to help join up residents with services provided by a range of different organisations that can help them address any issues they might have.

SENA involves working with numerous charities, voluntary & community sector organisations and housing associations, through a series of user research and service design sessions to co-create a solution that helps citizens and breaks down silos between organisations.

This has been a challenge as Huntingdonshire District Council is still learning agile and service design methodologies and trying to mesh these ways of working, with crossing organisational boundaries, has been a learning experience!
