About this talk

The WLGA Digital Team supports the 22 local authorities in Wales to provide the best digital services for all residents, workers and visitors. Citizens often rely on these services to find out important information or complete required tasks, so it’s vital they’re as good as they can possibly be.

Content sits at the very heart of this. Good content can make interactions intuitive and effortless, while bad content causes confusion and stress - making it more difficult for both citizens and officers to achieve their goals.

Having recently joined the WLGA Digital Team as a Content Designer, Emma has gained first-hand experience of the ways local authorities use content to deliver improved services and better outcomes, along with the unique challenges of managing such a large and diverse volume of content.

Come to the session where she’ll be talking through what she’s learned so far, and how this is shaping her role to support the aims and ambitions of local authorities in Wales.
