About this talk

The initial response to COVID has proven that it is possible to rapidly deliver digital technology across healthcare in extremely short timeframes. In this session, Andy Callow and Luke Morton will discuss how we can continue to deliver better patient outcomes by keeping users at the heart of the services we build.

Focussing on user needs, interoperability, open source and collaboration between Trusts is going to be key to ensure we can provide the best digital solutions for patients while reducing cost and duplication across the NHS.

Andy and Luke will address how we can continue the digital transformation within Trusts by utilising the full potential of the cloud and developing the skills and capabilities that are needed at Trust level.

They will also discuss how the learnings from delivering the “NHS Book a virtual visit” service and experiences from the private sector can be applied to healthcare, central & local government transformations, as well as the challenges and vast opportunities that lie ahead within the healthcare sector.
