AI for a Better World?

A Session by Sussex Humanities Lab

About this Session

Is AI going to end the world or can it help us save it?

This research networking workshop aims to generate critical conversations and new research collaborations to build positive futures for AI in sustainability research.

Would you like to carry out research to align AI and sustainability objectives?

Are you:

  • An AI researcher interested in applications of AI in sustainability?
  • A sustainability researcher interested in the potential for AI to address the SDGs but not sure where to start?
  • Fired up by issues around the potentially negative impacts of AI on ecological and social dimensions of sustainability?

We invite University of Sussex researchers across disciplines who are interested in developing future research projects at the intersection of AI and sustainability research. The workshop will include a mix of lightening talks, discussion panel and a chance to network toward future research collaborations.

To register for this workshop please fill out a few short questions so that we have a sense of who is coming.
