Stuart is the Founder of Etive with over 12 years in the proptech sector. In 2007 launched Property Log Book (PLB) as a tool for the new build sector creating digital records against new build homes. Evolved into the social housing sector in 2011 using the PLB as a platform for home energy efficiency with Birmingham City Council, which was a part of their Green Deal for 65,000 homes to help imporve consumer engagement and access to support and advice. Since 2018, Etive has been working on further developing the PLB to help improve the home buying and selling process with the wider introduction of the PLB into conveyancing supporting greater consumer engagment and digital transforation of the home buying & selling process. From 2014 we have been working with a variety of Government departments and local authorities on an assured digital identity and a digital identity trust framework for the conveyancing market, based on Government standards, and linking a person to a property.
