Sally Magnusson is a prize-winning journalist and versatile broadcaster who has presented a wide range of programmes for the BBC from current affairs and politics to news and religion.
Sally Magnusson television these currently include anchoring the daily news programme Reporting Scotland in Glasgow, Songs of Praise and from time to time Panorama, where she has investigated the hospital infection c-difficile and the lending practices of banks.
On radio she presents the popular Radio 4 genealogy series Tracing Your Roots and Radio Scotland’s Sally on Sunday. She is also the author of several books, including the hilarious Family Life and the quirky gift book, Life of Pee.
She has won two Royal Television Society awards and a Scottish BAFTA, and in 2007 the Institute of Contemporary Scotland awarded her a place in the Scottish Academy of Merit for services to the media. Sally Magnusson is in demand as an awards host and a conference chair capable of dealing with a wide range of subject matter.
