Roni Colling

Joining the civil service in 1989, Roni has worked in a vast number of roles throughout DWP, including Finance and benefit processing, management support and statistics.

In 2015 she made the transition to a Digital Team, and joined a Software Engineering bootcamp in 2016. (before we introduced formal apprenticeships). She's recently achieved promotion for the second time within that role; and is working on the Notifications team, focusing on improving the way we provide communication to our customers.

She would describe herself as a Software Engineer first, and a Leader last (but is gradually learning to rethink those thoughts)
