Throughout his career, Matt has worked with a diverse range of clients and partners, from SMEs to large enterprises, Health, Police, charities, and central government helping them achieve their and Salford City Councils’ objectives. He has a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital projects and workstreams. Some of the latter was achieved through his role as CTO at Home of Skills and Technology located within MediaCityUK Matt stays up-to-date with the latest digital trends and continuously explores innovative strategies to stay ahead in the ever-evolving digital landscape. He is adept at analysing data and drawing actionable insights to optimise modernisation and drive measurable results. Beyond his technical skills, Matt is known for his strong communication and collaboration abilities. He thrives in cross-functional team environments and enjoys working closely with clients to understand their unique business goals and tailor digital solutions accordingly. Matt frequently speaks at industry conferences and smaller groups, he is the Chair of the GM IT Leaders group, and through these channels, he shares his expertise and insights with fellow professionals. In his spare time, Matt enjoys exploring new technologies, experimenting with emerging digital platforms, and staying active through his love for grassroots football. He sits on the board of trustees for a charity grassroots football club called AFC Urmston Meadowside, offering football to 1200 children in the GM area.
