Transforming Digital Programme Director, UK Parliament
About this speaker
Having worked in Parliament for many years, Libby joined the Transforming Digital Programme as the Director of Business Change in Spring 2021, before becoming interim Programme Director in October 2022 and Programme Director in April 2023. The Programme is a Parliament-wide multi-year programme transforming Parliament’s approach to digital through the creation of a Digital and Data Operating Model for Parliament. The focus on enhancing skills and capability, data structures in Parliament and working with core and other business areas to enable more sustainable use of digital and data to meet business objectives.
Prior to joining the Parliamentary Digital Service, Libby worked as a Clerk in the House of Commons, as Head of the Centre of Excellence for Procedural Practice, the Clerk to the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee, and other Chamber and Committee roles. Earlier in her career, Libby also spent some years in Brussels working on behalf of the Commons, on EU affairs and inter-parliamentary relations.
