With a professional background ranging from surface design to user research, Jess is currently a Digital Delivery and Service Design Lead at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. She works with Policy and Delivery teams across the department (and related organisations) to help them take a user-centred approach to designing and delivering policies and services, whilst assuring value for money and advocating for the Government's Service Standard as part of the department’s spend control process. Whether it’s developing the department’s first Service Map or exploring user needs alongside Policy teams, Jess is passionate about Design's ability to help navigate complexity and drive innovation in Government.
