A passionate and experienced trade and inward investment professional, working across multi-stakeholder groups to attract new investment and build on existing investment in Newcastle, the North East and the wider Northern region. 

Years of experience in managing overseas offices and FDI lead generation contracts across markets such as Japan, USA, India, Germany, France, Sweden and Norway. 

Working across multiple industry sectors but with a recent focus on technology-led projects.

Projects include globally recognised brands as well as start-up enterprises. Involvement entails initial location promotion through creation of a compelling value proposition, inward visit programmes and shortlisting of locations to final decision.

Experience of organising and running large international trade delegations and hosting incoming investment missions.
