Dr Sikiru Ganiyu is a Senior Lecturer in Project Management at Teesside University, UK. He was a Research Fellow in Augmented Reality (AR) Application Development with BIM at the Big-Data Enterprise and Artificial-intelligence Laboratory (Big-DEAL), the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol. He had worked on many industry-led projects such as Deconstruction and Recovery Information Modelling (DRIM); AI-enabled Healthy Living Platform for Indoor Air Pollution Analytics and Visualisation (Healthy-Air); IoT-enabled Platform for Rail Assets Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance (i-RAMP); Integrating Conversational-AI with Augmented Reality and BIM for Faster and Collaborative on-site Construction Assembly (Conversational-BIM), among others. He led the AR Development team that worked on Integrating Conversational AI and Augmented Reality (AR) with BIM for a faster and collaborative on-site construction assemblage (Conversational-BIM) Project. With a background in Architecture (FUTA) and Construction Management (LSBU), his expertise is in the application of digital technologies to project management, architecture, building information modelling, circular economy, and knowledge management. He has over 30 publications from reputable journals and international conferences.
