About this speaker

Dr. Barnard’s research centres on the application of creativity to the challenge of bridging the digital divide. Her digital inclusion research is the subject of a Research Excellence Framework (REF2021) Impact Case Study. It is represented by her book 'The Multimodal Writer' (Bloomsbury, 2019), her BBC Radio 4 programme 'Digital Future' (2019) and her journal article ‘Cyber Nuts and Bolts’ (Convergence, 2023).
