I am Dorset Council’s Corporate Director Digital and Change, having spent most of my career working with Local Government leading innovation, modernisation and putting customers at the centre of service design. I have also worked as a consultant with private sector companies in telecommunications and the financial sector supporting them to improve their time to market for new products and improving services offered through customer call centres. I am passionate about the opportunities digital can bring to revolutionise public sector services and their operating models. Some examples of transformations I have led include successfully insourcing support services, designing and delivering new flexible approaches to work and redesigning services to make significant savings while improving customer satisfaction.
My PhD, Processes of Improvisation in Change Management, is a critical management studies perspective on organisations and how they change. I am currently studying on the NHS Digital Academy Cohort 3 with Imperial College, London.
