Annette Allmark

Personal and professional experience has given Annette a passion for what can be achieved through high quality vocational and workplace training, in particular Apprenticeships. As part of the sector skills council for the visitor economy, Annette worked alongside employers, training providers and government to help drive the agenda for skills and apprenticeships across a range of sectors including hospitality, retail and travel. In September 2018 she joined BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT with responsibility for its Digital Apprenticeship strategy and End-Point Assessment Organisations and together with an outstanding team, has grown the number of apprentices assessed from the hundreds to approaching 20,000. While continuing to progress BCS’ role in apprenticeships, Annette’s current position as a Director of Learning Development is to deliver growth across BCS’ professional development portfolio. She has also recently completed an MSc in Strategy, Change and Leadership at the University of Bristol.
