About this speaker
Amanda Davie is an executive and leadership coach, coach trainer, learning & development consultant, board advisor, trustee, entrepreneur, founder and company director.
Amanda coaches, advises and champions leaders, companies, teams and individual professionals to become more emotionally intelligent, inclusive and collaborative, overcome their barriers to success and realise their full potential. And she designs and curates cultures and communities where professionals feel psychologically safe to connect, learn and practice being at their best in the workplace, and with one another.
Amanda’s career began in 1998 as a pioneer of the UK Internet advertising sector, where she worked with other dot.com entrepreneurs to help build, lead and sell highly successful digital media sales and marketing services firms, including Outrider to WPP; and i-level to private equity.
In 2008 Amanda hit the proverbial glass ceiling, so she went in search of more autonomy and success on her own terms. She founded Reform, which grew into an international digital management consulting firm, with offices in London and New York.
In 2011, wanting to give something back to the digital industry, Amanda co-founded a non-profit mentoring programme called Mentoring Digital Minds; and, in support of other female entrepreneurs became a mentor on the Cherie Blair International Mentoring Programme for Women in Business.
In 2013 Amanda went in search of new career adventures that would enable her to further focus on her passion for developing people, studied for a Certificate in Psychology of Coaching with The Coach House, and qualified to become a member of the Association for Coaching.
In 2016 Amanda co-founded Equal Talent, an inclusive executive coaching consultancy; and in 2020, in response to the pandemic-aggravated gender inequality across the global economy, she co-conceived She Has No Limits (https://guild.co/groups/1954/she-has-nolimits), a movement and 2,500-strong global community of professional women, empowering themselves to design the careers they deserve.
Amanda is a passionate and vocal egalitarian and feminist and is on a mission to help make the world of work a fairer and more rewarding place for everyone. In recent years she has perhaps become best known for her work with women and other marginalised minority groups, and with courageous c-level leaders who challenge and address the often entrenched bias and prejudice that limits organisations from creating diverse, inclusive and high-performing cultures.
In 2020 Amanda was named as one of the 125 People To Follow On LinkedIn About Diversity & Inclusion. And Amanda has been a keynote speaker, panellist and workshop facilitator for women’s professional communities Digital Leading Ladies, Allbright, Dawn (Digital Advertising Women’s Network), Congress London, The Career Mum and LondonTechLadies, to help as many professional women as possible to feel empowered, confident and capable of realising their potential, especially as industry leaders.
In 2023 Amanda had a career ‘full-circle moment’ when she was invited to join the Faculty team at The Coach House, where she now trains others to become coaches too. Amanda has received the following specialist coaching certifications and accreditations to date:
1:1 Certificate In Coaching - The Coach House (accredited by the AC).
Group Coaching Certificate – The Bird Table.
Team Coaching Certificate – Barefoot Coaching.
Accreditation in Emotional Intelligence in Leadership, harnessing RocheMartin's Emotional Capital Report, to help assess and develop emotional intelligence in leaders and managers.

Leadership Development Profile – by Harthill Consulting, a profiling tool to help leaders understand where they are on their leadership journey and how they make meaning of the changing world around them.
Certificate in Organizational Learning & Development with LinkedIn and the HR Certification Institute®.
Amanda is also currently studying for a Diploma in Psychotherapy with the Human Givens Institute. Amanda’s clients have ranged from middle managers and leaders in global businesses across the private and public sector incl. the NHS, Microsoft, CGI, Spotify, GBG, IBM, Google and Facebook, to founders and directors of start-ups and charities.
Amanda is a serial social connector and is constantly curating communities e.g. She Has No Limits, Leading Through Change, The Intelligencia Club, Brookfield Mums Run Club, and Sheffield Uni Ladies Rugby Club Old Girls - to enable herself and others like her to journey, grow and thrive in their careers together.
Amanda’s pro bono work aligns to her core values of equity, education and leadership - coaching local school teachers who wouldn’t otherwise receive it, volunteering at a cold weather homeless shelter, chairing a local school’s Anti-Racism Committee and being a UK Scouting Trustee (as Chair of 12th Hampstead Scout Group). When not working Amanda is an imperfect parent of two, a challenging wife, loyal friend, ex-hooker (rugby, of course!), wild water swimmer, community choir singer and skier.
